Autumnal Paris remains a deeply attractive city, full of mystery and charm. Always worth a visit, its lure for anyone involved in the music business is especially strong during the long weekend of the MaMA Music festival and convention in mid-October. Now in its 17th edition, it has long been established as one of most important events in Europe, bringing together artists, professionals and music fans from well beyond the Francophone world to discover new music and forge new plans.
As ever, Swiss Music Export, too, will be relocating to Paris for the duration of MaMA in order to facilitate networking opportunities for Swiss professionals and international colleagues.
In collaboration with FCMA (Fondation romande pour la Chanson et les Musiques actuelles) we are cordially inviting international and Swiss music professionals for an afternoon of fresh encounters, reviving old friendships and impromptu brainstorming sessions. Plus, there will be live showcases by Swiss acts Lone Assembly and Lady O. The event is open to professionals accredited to MaMA Music & Convention – Register here.

Lone Assembly (17:00): The Genevan dark wave synth quartet will be presenting the big, bold and joyous Goth darkness of their highly acclaimed debut LP “Knots & Chains” – a concept album, no less!
Lady O. (16:15): The winner of the 2026 edition of the French version of the talent show “The Voice” is not yet twenty but already something of a veteran. The singer in a rock band to start with, she has developed into a classy singer/songwriter with her own company to ensure complete artistic freedom.
Presented by Swiss Music Export, the SUISA Foundation, and Pro Helvetia – with the kind participation of the Swiss Embassy in France.
More Swiss Acts @ MaMA
On Friday, 16 October, two more Swiss acts will take the stage at MaMA Music & Convention. Catch ROSHÂNI and TENDINITES live at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris.
ROSHÂNI (23:00) are a Geneva-based duo blending electronic world pop with influences from their Iranian, Moroccan and Bulgarian roots. With hypnotic grooves and lyrics in Farsi, French, English and Spanish, they create a sound made for the dancefloor.
TENDINITES (00:05) bring together Atlantic reggaeton, Valais mountain grooves and post-internet culture in a playful, unpredictable mix. Switching between French and Spanish, their music balances infectious fun with a quirky, slightly surreal edge.
