Baba Shrimps Go to Liverpool

Following up their Swiss top 2 album “III”, Baba Shrimps’ latest release is a five-track EP entitled “Best Days” and available now via Grizzly/Motor Music. “Best Days” was written in a rehearsal studio in Liverpool and recorded at the Motor Museum Studio in the same city where the likes of Arctic Monkeys, the 1975 and the Black Keys have worked. It marks an impressive return to top form for a rock band that lives and breathes big choruses.

Alongside the usual download and CD, the band have also compiled a 10inch vinyl record which contains extra material in the shape of intros, outros and skits consisting of found sounds and voices from the streets of Liverpool where the EP was recorded. Additionally, the band have worked the stories told by the songs into a film featuring the up-and-coming British actor Craige Middleburg. To round things off, another soon-to-be-released film documents the three friends’ ten-year musical journey right up to their trip to Liverpool to recover their mojo after a period of estrangement. To enjoy these, visit the band’s YouTube channel where they will be released part by part in the next few weeks.
