New album from Puts Marie

Puts Marie from Biel have been extraordinarily busy since their return from a lengthy sabbatical during which all members pursued their own individual projects. In the two years since the release of their comeback album, “Pornstar”, the group has been touring incessantly. In between the many performances they still managed to record a mini-album, “Masoch”, and now comes a companion piece entitled “Masoch II”. Rather than putting out another mini-album, however, Puts Marie have combined the two to make one complete album. “Masoch I + II” was released by Two Gentlemen Records in Switzerland on 25 September. A French release will follow on 9 October through a licencing deal with the Yotanka label. Combining rock with chanson, hip-hop, and a love of Tom Waits in their inimitable style, “Masoch I + II” is the work of a band at the peak of their powers.

To support the album release, Puts Marie will once again be on tour. Throughout November they will be playing fourteen dates in France, including a gig on 9 November at Le Point Ephémère in Paris. There will be many more gigs in December and early in 2016.
