We will be holding a reception at the Indra Musikklub in Hamburg, to which all professional delegates are cordially invited. Don’t forget to click the registration link HERE! This event – complete with drinks and snacks – will segue neatly into the evening’s hot serving of a sample of the most exciting new acts currently active in Switzerland.

19:00 — Danitsa
Blending elements of dancehall reggae with hip-hop, funk and everything else a musically curious artist might pick up, Danitsa is one of the most original and successful members of the super-lively Genevan music scene.
20:15 — Malummí
Formed to perform the songs of Brazil-born Larissa Rapold, the art-rocking Indie Suisse “Album of the year” award winners from Basel will be presenting their fantastic album, “Damaged by Their Silence”, released last spring.
21:30 — Moictani
The French-Swiss/Spanish singer/songwriter Moictani aka Tania Praz uses an intriguing variety of ingredients including synth-pop, Krautrock and Spanish influences to create a warm, richly layered and idiosyncratic style of rock songs.
22:45 — Blanche Biau
A visual artist from Zurich, Blanche Biau combines woozily shoe-gazerish guitars with 80s-style synths and eerie vocals to darkly atmospheric effect.

One of the most innovative voices of the vibrant Bernese hip-hop community, Jule X raps in Bernese German and fuses elements of techno, indie and punk-pop to craft songs that can’t help but stay in your brain even when the language probably doesn’t.
Matchmaking Programme
For the first time this year, SME has teamed up with Better Things/German Bulldozer to curate a new matchmaking programme. Alas, this event is already full up and no more applications can be accepted.
