Phoam Offering Full “Disclosure”
Three years into their career, electro-rocking four-piece Phoam are releasing their debut album, “Disclosure”. Serving up ten slices of chrome-plated, big-sounding tunes with a dark undertow, no one would be surprised to see the band follow in the footsteps of Killers and Imagine Dragons on to the big stages of our big festivals.
“We have finally found our style: Coldpop”, says keyboarder Jeroen van Vulpen. And this is how they define their newly-forged niche of joy: “Coldpop is melancholic, dark, yet vigorous and full of emotions. It oscillates between synthpop and electronic music, combining modern rhythms with sour or blues and adding a playful piano game. The polarizing elements express an inner struggle, creating an atmosphere that is both distressing and powerful.”
