Aftermath with Atlas Clouds

There is an early Rolling Stones album called “Aftermath” – and this “Aftermath” sounds nothing like it! Atlas Clouds’ follow up to their debut LP “Close My Eyes” from 2018, an EP, was released on 12 June 2020 by Waterfall of Colours Records.

Atlas Clouds is the solo project of singer/songwriter Christoph Meier who also plays a wide range of instruments, including drums, flute, accordion, guitar and piano. Having taken seven years to complete his debut album, he is now on a roll, taking barely two to complete an EP. Inspired by the likes of Nick Mulvey and Olafur Arnalds, these ears also hear a hint of Black, aka Colin Vearncombe, in these softly sung, multi-layered songs of longing and dreaming.
