SME at Printemps de Bourges – 16 – 21 April 2019
There can’t be many more picturesque places to celebrate spring than Printemps de Bourges, the ace festival in the middle of France designed to support all forms of Francophone music. Swiss Music Export has enjoyed Bourges’s legendary hospitality for fifteen years now. Of course, we’re back for the latest edition.
AND we’re super pleased to announce that once again one of our acts has been invited to perform under the prestigious Les iNOUïS du Printemps de Bourges banner, a showcase reserved for a select bunch of special talents. Following on from the likes of Sandor, Flèche Love and Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp, this year’s pick is electronica wizard, turntable magician, beat maker, re-mixer and DJ, FlexFab.
FlexFab

Reared in the vibrant environment of Neuchâtel’s Michigang hip-hop collective and the Murmures Barbares music collective, FlexFab’s music is infused with a strong sense of history and a love of deep down heavy bass lines. It explores the wide open spaces stretching out between various shades of electronica, deep house, and trap. FlexFab has collected a number of awards, and his single “Zoo” has accumulated well over 5 million streams. His newest album “Ex-Voto” will feature heavily during his showcase performance in Bourges. Oh, and an intense live show is another one of his specialities.
Afterwards, to celebrate Switzerland’s presence at Printemps de Bourges, Swiss Music Export organizes a special “Pot Suisse”.

Muddy Monk aka Guillaume Dietrich is a chansonnier with a penchant for languid melancholy and leafy electronica sounds. He will be featuring songs from his debut album, “Longue Ride”.
Flèche Love
Wed 17 April / 20:30 / Le Théatre Jacques Coeur
Flèche Love aka Amina Cadelli used to be the voice of the post-Balkan-technoists Kadebostany. Freed from any musical shackles, she now serves up a hypnotic brand of mysterious rap-songs and hallucinogenic trip-hot grooves.
