Sons of Morpheus emerge from the Wooden House

It’s the classic way to make a ridiculously loud and dark record in Switzerland: lock yourself in an idyllic chalet and start making noise. That’s exactly what the hard and heavy Basel-based trio Sons of Morpheus have done. A first batch of three songs from their get-together in homely seclusion in January 2018 was released on a double-headed mini-LP shared with Berlin-based sludge rockers Samavayo. Now, the rest of the recordings are gathered together on a new album, the band’s fourth, “The Wooden House Session”.

The Wooden House Session” is released digitally worldwide via Sixteentimes Music (a company with two HQs, one in Basel and the other in Weil am Rhein, Germany) and physically via Czar of Revelations (World), Soulfood (Germany, Austria), Soundworks (France), Plastic Head (UK, Ireland and all imports) and other partners.
