Nicolas Fraissinet

Having sold 5000 copies of his debut album Courants d’Air (2008) and completed a tour featuring more than 180 concerts in French-speaking Europe and Canada, Nicolas Fraissinet now presents his second full-length album, Les Métamorphoses. Released last month in Switzerland (Disques Office), the CD is now due for its French and Belgian appearance on 26 April (AkaMusic/dtb2music, distributed by Universal).

Fraissinet’s telling lyrics and moving piano stylings have garnered the French-speaking Swiss native excellent reviews, the pinnacle thus far of a career that began with an unusual mixture of training in classical jazz and education in literary studies topped up with initial experience of the musician’s life in Paris.
