Only four (ecologically sound) hours by train from Zurich, Cologne is regularly attended by many music business people from Switzerland, all keen to extend their list of European contacts, exchange ideas and discover exciting new acts. Needless to say that Swiss Music Export once again will be present and ready to make introductions, help with coordination and give general advice.
Most importantly, however, SME, jointly with Austrian Music Export, will host a not-to-be-missed networking reception at Herbrands Biergarten with “fresh Fleckerl” (whatever that is …) from the Austrians and a herd of left-over chocolate Easter bunnies from us. Plus, of course, plenty of drink. Don’t miss out – everyone is welcome!

Swiss acts Edb and Malummi will be part of the regular festival programme.

Sony-signed rapper Edb – aka Eddie, and still only in his early twenties – established himself as a teenager in Bern’s vibrant hip-hop scene. Demonstrating a rare ease with rhythm and words, he combines the sonorous tones of his native Bernese dialect with an ear for catchy melodies.
