CMA Foundation and SME present two new compilations: Sonic Switzerland 2009 and Les Belles Suisses
Sonic Switzerland 2009, produced in collaboration with Radio WRS and Adcom, comprises Rock, Pop and Folk songs by 17 Swiss acts: Marvin, Pegasus, Seven feat. Talib Kweli, Stevans, Mykungfu, Lovebugs, J.D. Roth, Catcha, Macy, The Homestories, The Bianca Story, Hemlock Smith, Pilomotor, My name is George, Pierre Omer, Spencer, and Hell’s Kitchen
Les Belles Suisses, produced in collaboration with Radio Suisse Romande la lère and Adcom, features the latest offerings by 15 female artists from Switzerland: Sophie Hunger, Valeska, Heidi Happy, Tim and Puma Mimi, Kassette, Evelinn Trouble, Aloan, Fiona Daniel, Annakin, Lea Lu, Toboggan, Lallaby, Electric Blanket, Anna Aaron, and Muriel Dubuis.
The compilations contribute to the promotion and distribution of music by Swiss artists, in line with the core mandate of both the CMA Foundation and Swiss Music Export.
