OY: New single and live dates

With her critically acclaimed debut album „First Box Then Walk“, the half Ghanaian, half Swiss vocalist and songwriter Joy Frempong emerged in the international spotlight after playing showcases at Transmusicales, Montreux Jazz, Airwaves and at Eurockéenes where she won the festival’s newcomer award. Her trans-genre style of Electronic music, Jazz, Hiphop and her very entertaining live sets combined with a breathtaking voice has made has won the hearts of fans and critics alike.

As the first single off her 2nd album, OY has now released Market Place. While the debut album was inspired by Frempong’s childhood memories, her recent travels to Africa, local proverbs and traditions had a big impact on her new material.
