Monkey3 show SOLD OUT for the first time!
For the first time ever, Lausanne’s favourite purveyors of stoner rock played to a capacity crowd on their home turf in French-speaking Switzerland. In the year ahead they are looking forward to guest appearances at two pivotal festivals: Hellfest in France, and Holland’s Roadburn. Their new studio album is due for release in April of 2010, just in time for the summer festivals…
MODERN DAY HEROES wrap up banner year with tour and single
Demo-Tape-Clinic and MyCokeMusic winners MODERN DAY HEROES are rounding out a successful 2009 with support for DIE HAPPY as they tour Germany from 17 to 30 December. MDH beat out the competition to score the warm-up gig with singer Martha Jandova and her power rockers, who invited the Swiss combo on the strength of their latest album. Meanwhile, „Jungle Drum“, which arose spontaneously in a jam session during recording of MDH’s new album, due out in the first half of 2010, and has since been favoured with enthusiastic viral marketing in its pre-release version, will be available for download as of 11 December (see the teaser on their myspace page, link below). A video clip of the hit single is also in progress.

Nicolas Fraissinet on tour to promote new album
Nicolas Fraissinet, who beat Cameroon’s Karesse and Karkwa of Québec to win at the Jeux de la Francophonie 2009 in Beirut last month, and who has since stacked up a host of other distinctions, releases his new album Courants d’air in France on 6 November and has already embarked on a promotional tour.

On 10 December Junior Tshaka will take the stage at Scène Bastille in Paris with the Moonraisers for an AIDS solidarity concert. See below for other dates this fall.
