Paléo Festival
The 34th annual Paléo Festival once again trains the spotlight on major acts, such as Placebo, The Prodigy, Franz Ferdinand, Moby, Tracy Chapman, Amy Macdonald and the Kaiser Chiefs, as well as offering less well-known artists both domestic and foreign a platform for some refreshingly new sounds.
Swiss artists make a strong showing this year: featured at Nyon are Sophie Hunger, The Young Gods, Bonaparte, Mama Rosin, The Bianca Story, Peter Kernel, Heidi Happy, Tim & Puma Mimi, Girls in the Kitchen, The V.AC., Thomas More Project, Commodor, Brutus, Josef Of The Fountain, Ska Nerfs, Tobogga, The Proteins, Nancy Glowbus, Kate Wax, Zedrus, La Gale et Rynox, Tweek and Trip In. FCMA and Swiss Music Export are along for the ride, working to develop and enhance Swiss artists’ ties to the international music scene with showcases for professionals and plenty of networking opportunities.
