Available now via Oh, Sister Records is “Immense Birthday Party”, album number two from synth-pop trio a=f/m.
Formed by Zurich-based producer/singer/etc Belia Winnewisser and electronica experimenter Rolf Laureijs (both are also involved in composing music for theatre productions), the trio are newly expanded to include Melanie Zwahlen (Ex-All XS). The eight songs of “Immense Birthday Party” are all brimming with warmth, mystery and melodic depth. The perfect soundtrack for a wintery birthday party, with the cheminée in full roaring flight, the snowflakes drifting past the window, and the feet twitching with dancing intent.
