Löwenzahnhonig Playing That Ole’ Cherry Blossom Boogie

Two years after their hugely popular debut record comes “Kirschblütenboogie”, the second album from the Zurich “supergroup” Löwenzahnhonig (engl.: dandelion honey). It is released by A Tree in a Field/Inselgruppe. Consisting of Simon Borer aka Long Tall Jefferson, Fabian Sigmund aka Fai Baba and producer and multi-instrumentalist Paul Märki (Ex-Black Sea Dahu), the band is radically different from anything the three musicians might have been doing elsewhere. Purely instrumental, the tracks are all meticulously composed and arranged. They follow an easy and laid-back groove that never deviates from their soft and harmonious groove. Frequently compared in terms of vibe to Khruangbin or Fleetwood Mac’s “Albatross”, Löwenzahnhonig will be touring Switzerland and Europe in October and December.
