La Gale releases new album

After three years of incessant touring across Europe and performing everywhere, from punky squats to major festivals, Lausanne-based rapper and actress La Gale is at last ready to release her second album. “Salem City Rockers” was produced by French beatmasters I.N.C.H. and Al’Tarba. Released by local label Vitesse Records on 2 October, it is distributed in Switzerland by Irascible and in France by Modulor. Still rooted in French rap, “Salem City Rockers” serves up a dark stew of rock, hardcore and blues laced with filthy samples, thundering bass and sharply political lyrics.

To celebrate the release of “Salem City Rockers”, starting in mid-September and accompanied by her regular 5-piece live crew, La Gale will be embarking on a tour of France.
