Opération Iceberg Round Table: An identifiable European culture: myth or reality? 8 June 2015 – Belfort

Presented by Opération Iceberg, five leading music professionals will be taking part in a round table discussion on 8 June on the state of the European music business today. The discussion under the heading „L’Espace Culture Européen: Mythe ou Réalité“ will be taking place on Monday, 8 June, at the Théatre le Granit in Belfort (1 Faubourg de Montbéliard, Belfort, France).

The participants are:

Paul-Henri Wauters (program director Botanique and Co-Président De Concert! – international federation of festivals -, Belgium)
Luca Bergamo (general secretary of Culture Action Europe, Belgium)
François Missonnier (director of Rock en Seine and of the EUROPAVOX festival, France)
Peter Jenner (director of Sincere Management agency; ex-manager of Pink Floyd and the Clash)
Laurence Barone (political analyst at Relais Culture Europe/Bureau Europe Creative, France).

The talk will be conducted by David Glaser (journalist, blogger, Lausanne/Switzerland).

Opération Iceberg is an experimental project initiated by Fondation CMA (Switzerland) and Eurockéennes de Belfort (France) to support and develop the work of ten emerging artists over the course of three years. The organisation is supported by Swiss Music Export, Fondation SUISA, Pro Helvetia and others.
