Seven promises “BackFunkLoveSoul”

For quite some time, Jan Dettwyler aka Seven has been one of the most popular live acts in Switzerland. Over the course of no fewer than eight albums, he has slowly but surely developed his own high octane and highly danceable brand of R&B, reaching the top 5 of the Swiss charts with each of his last four studio albums.

Now, after 149 days in the studio, Seven has completed his latest album, “BackFunkLoveSoul”. It will be released worldwide 17 April, distributed by Sony Music. The video for the slinky, Princesque title track, released two months ago, has garnered 60’000 youtube clicks so far. To support the album release, Seven “gate-crashed” several dance events in Switzerland with unannounced showcase performances.
