This Autumn in Paris, SME and the CMA Foundation present a selection of Swiss artists, to enhance their visibility and to push networking with record labels. It will also be an occasion for these artists to perform publicly in front of key figures from the French Music business, Paris being one of the three big music capitals in Europe and is the leading city in the francophone market. This positive movement has been initiated by the quality of the artists but also by better structures to assist their work abroad through the FCMA and the Swiss Music Export office.

The Gurten Festival (July 17th until 20th) is a famous, peaceful musical happening which takes place on Bern’s home mountain, the Gurten. 35’000 visitors made the pilgrimage to the mountain in summer 2007. The 4-day open-air music festival is aimed at a broad public, and is legendary for its great atmosphere whatever the weather.
