Sento – Phoenix rising
With “Phoenix” – out now – Zurich’s fast rising producer/songwriter Sento presents his most substantial song collection yet. Starting off in his early twenties during the interminable Covid months, the Swiss-Norwegian studio wizard has been gathering a strong underground following with a handful of much admired (and streamed) singles and EPs. Combining a smooth neo-soul groove aesthetic with hints of disco, R&B and pop, Sento wrote and recorded “Phoenix” on a Norwegian island, in the Swiss mountains and in Zurich. The title says it all, really, or, as he explains in his press bio: “Phoenix continues the journey begun in Delirium (2024), moving from delirium to rebirth”.
