Paula Dalla Corte Moves Into Fashion

Available now thanks to Universal Music, is the long-awaited debut (mini-) album from “The Voice of Germany” winner Paula Dalla Corte. Entitled “Fashion”, it contains a generous helping of eight big-voiced, exuberant and satisfyingly eclectic indie-pop nuggets.   

Only just turned eighteen, Paula won the 2020 edition of „The Voice Germany“ with her song „Someone Better“ and used the money from her win for a move to Los Angeles. Having gained invaluable song-writing and studio experience as well as a much clearer idea of the kind of artist she wanted to be, she relocated once again, this time to Berlin. Sparkling with the confidence of an artist who is utterly at home in her skin, “Fashion” presents an unlikely but riveting blend of styles ranging from electroclash to Cramps, Lana del Ray and – on the ballad “Glitter” – Elton John. All tied together by the voice: dark, smoky and oh so mysterious.
