Linda Wolf dreamily drowning

Fresh from Mouthwatering Records arrives the Bernese singer/songwriter Linda Wolf’s new album, her second. Entitled “Dreaming & Drowning”, it comes with a melodious aura that recalls the easy vibe of 1970s Laurel Canyon even when dealing with complex matters of mind, heart and dealing with the rest of the world. Which is what Linda Wolf is occupied with day in day out in her other guise as a psychotherapist. Here’s what her press release says: “Twelve songs that map an interior world and begin where Linda Wolf meets herself – in the rain, alone – and end where she always was: good as she is”. Accompanying herself on guitar, Linda Wolf is supported by a classily restrained outfit of guitar (Luk Kipfer), drums, piano (producer Rico Baumann) and bass (Jeremias Keller).
