Psycho Weazels Don’t Cry!
Barely two months after their EP, “Mains d’argile”, Neuchatel-based producer and remixer duo Ivo Roxo and Léo Besso a.k.a Psycho Weazel, are back with their first album proper. At last able to demonstrate the full range of their studio vision, “boysdontcry” is much more than just a number of bangers for the dance floor. Ranging from an eerie pop track like encore and the windily ambient circus tune amourette de phantom to the beautifully atmospheric torse, the Sparks-ish favorit dj and the more straight-forward dance beats of the title track, this is a real album, with a beginning, a middle and an end. Guest vocalists Nerlov, Bolides and Crimer add more nuances to an already impressive palette.
