Swiss Music Export @ m4music Festival 2024
Springtime in Switzerland can only mean one thing – m4music Festival! With the public part of the live music program regularly sold out weeks in advance, and a hugely attractive central venue, SME’s “home game” festival offers a guaranteed great time for all. Add to that a wide range of Expert Talks such as panels, keynotes or workshops for business professionals, and you have the full package of an event not to be missed.
Swiss Music Export will once again host a number of excellent events, all designed to bring together Swiss artists and professionals with their counterparts from all over Europe.

Getting to know European Festivals
FRI 22 MAR | 14:00-15:30 | Schiffbau, Box | In English

Business Mixer Brunch
SAT 23 MAR | 11:00 – 13:00 | Schiffbau, m4music Bistro im LaSalle
As ever, we’d love to see old friends and new at our annual brunch buffet to catch up with each other’s progress in the past year, and plans for the twelve months ahead. Awaiting you and your friends will be the best coffee in town plus bread and croissants straight from the oven. Message to anyone who hasn’t attended before: It’s high time you mended your ways!
Attendance is open to all professionals. However, registration is mandatory. As the space is restricted, so is the number of people we are able to entertain. Thus, unfortunately we have to have a “one band, one rep” rule in place. We shall do our best to accommodate anyone on our list arriving before 11:30. After that it’s admittance only if there is enough room.
Here’s the link to register (until Tuesday March 19, 18:00):

Swiss Success Story: Black Sea Dahu
SAT 23 MAR | 13:00 – 14:15 | Schiffbau, Moods
Ever since they released their single “In Case I Fall For You” five years ago, Zurich-based Black Sea Dahu, formed around the sisters Janine and Vera Cathrein, have been on their very own never-ending-tour-of-everywhere. Collecting rave reviews and still more fans wherever they appear, their gentle, folk-tinged songs are a soothing antidote to modern life’s tribulations even if they don’t shy away from difficult subjects and the odd thunderstorm. Quietly and without spectacular advertising campaigns, the band have become one of the biggest Swiss export hits in recent years. Here to explain how they did it, are the band themselves, their manager, Mouthwatering’s Andreas Ryser and their booker Fabian Schütze.
Panel conducted in German with French translation.
