Trio Heinz Herbert Delve Into Their Own Wonderland

Available now via Red Brick Records is “Tomorrow Wonderland”, yet another fascinating exploration of rhythm and texture from the restlessly innovative Trio Heinz Herbert. Residing somewhere between new/minimal music, Tortoise and Juan Atkins, Dominic Landolt (guitar, effects), Ramon Landolt (keyboards, synth, samples) and Mario Hänni (drums) have shared a communal living space as well as a studio for twelve years, resulting in a near-transcendental understanding of each other’s muses. „We are all attracted to equal rights for sound – the quiet, in harmonic, the zoom in the zoom out, field recording, 4/4, polyrhythms, in sync – out of sync, trying to give each of these ideas or concepts equal significance and using these as a starting point to create music that is structured in a non-traditional way.”
