Having announced the arrival of their gloriously raucous “Amour de Vivre” with an EP of that very title, Barrio Colette are now truly taking on the world with their eagerly awaited debut album. Entitled “Rouge Rose”, it is available now from Cheptel Records.

Formed in late 2019 in Geneva, Barrio Colette are Anissa Cadelli (also part of Sony-signed Bandit Voyage) and comedian/actress/singer Noémie Griess. Possessed by a splendidly anarchic sense of humour and a total absence of inhibitions when it comes to writing catchy melodies, they are the missing link between Françoise Hardy and the White Stripes. The Barrios are celebrating the release of their album with an extensive tour of Switzerland. Say goodbye to yodelling and say hello to the joys of garage-chansons noir with “Rouge Rose”!
