Emilie Zoé Says Hello to Her Future Me

Emilie Zoé releases her latest album, “Hello Future Me”, on 11 February 2022 via Hummus Records. After two collaborative albums with Young God Franz Treichler (/A\) and theatre/soundtrack composer Christian Garcia Gaucher (“Pigeons”), “Hello Future Me” marks a return to a more conventional and quieter singer/songwriter. Recorded with her long-term musical partner, the percussionist Nicolas Pittet, and a little help with arrangements from Hummus’s house producer Louis Jucker, Zoé herself contributes a variety of instruments, including guitars, Moogs, cellos, synths, and “field recordings”.

Eight years after her first EP and a tour as a backing vocalist for Anna Aaron, Emilie Zoé has developed into one of the most popular singer/songwriters in Switzerland and surrounding countries. As an artist, she constantly confounds expectations, and this album is no different. This time it’s the calmness of the mood and the richly detailed instrumental touches that come as a surprise. Emilie Zoé is celebrating the release with an extensive tour of Switzerland, France, Belgium and Germany.
