Andrea Bignasca is Not Drowning

The third album from Andrea Bignasca, “Keep Me From Drowning”, is released on 19 March 2021 by Radicalis.

The long hair, beard and t-shirt combo is a pretty good indication for the musical tastes of Andrea Bignasca. Raised in the Italian part of Switzerland on a diet of classic rock, his song-writing skills have developed in leaps and bounds during a solo career that is now almost a decade old. With “Keep Me From Drowning”, Bignasca has discovered a deeper vein of soul in his rich and gravelly voice, sounding a big like a more sensitive Paul Rodgers and a not quite so troubled Mark Lanegan. As demonstrated by the video, “A Guide for Ex-musicians – a Life Post-Music”, Andrea Bignasca also has a pleasingly droll sense of gallows humour. Check it out – it is well worth a giggle.
