Gaspar Narby’s transatlantically broken heart

Electronic singer/songwriter Gaspar Narby celebrates the release of a new EP, “Transatlantic”, and a new single, “Sirenes” via the Basel and Hamburg based Radicalis label. Both, EP and single, came out on 5 June 2020.

“Transatlantic” offers an atmospheric slice of trippy electro pop, with lyrics about the end of a long distance relationships, and the fall-out of a frightening near-accident in a friend’s car.

Gaspar Narby was barely out of his short trousers when he already earned enough money from music to build his own studio. Aged fifteen, his talent was discovered by Franz Treichler, the founder of sampling pioneers The Young Gods, who was happy to share his experience and knowledge with the eager teenager. Releasing his debut single, “Home”, in 2017, Narby subsequently moved to London to study music at Goldsmith University.
