Coilguns Shake Your Walls
The loudest band anywhere, ever, strikes again! “Watchwinders” is Coilguns’ third abum. It was released on 25 October 2019 via their guitarist Jonathan Nido’s own, multi-connected Hummus Records. Having expanded their line-up from a trio to a quartet with the arrival of multi-instrumentalist Donatien Thievent, and interrupting an extensive tour following the release of their last album, “Millennials”, the band recorded “Watchwinders” in a one-month burst of energy in January 2019. Returning to their earlier hardcore hardcore sound (in other words, you can’t get any more hardcore!), the new album swaps the drones and repetitions of “Millennials” for faster, fiercer and shorter songs that bring the house down in more senses than one.
The band support the release of “Watchwinders” with an extensive tour of the UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Switzerland in November and December.
