Electron Genève – 25 April – 5 May 2019

The electronic music scene is thriving in the French part of Switzerland, and with Electron Genève it has created one of the most important gatherings of the European electronica world. Headlined this year by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Adam X and Maya Jane Coles, the festival brings together dozens of established artists as well as freshly hatched newcomers. Many of them are Swiss, all have the potential to become household names.

Once again, FCMA and Swiss Music Export have pooled their energy and address books to present their unmissable networking event, the traditional Matchmaking  (Sat 4 May / 13:00 / École Crea) get-together. A game of musical chairs, participants will have time to exchange views and ideas with a number of professionals pre-arranged to fit interest patterns.

Another event designed to bring together professionals from all corners of the European electronic music scene is the Round Table Discussion (Sat 4 May / 16:00 / École Crea) coordinated by SUISA in collaboration with l’Association Cultures Electroniques, discussing possibilities of supporting, sustaining and developing a career as an artist or producer in Switzerland. This event is open to the public.
