Crimer breaks into the charts and hits the Great Escape

From nowhere, Crimer was all over the Swiss media last year thanks to an irresistibly catchy dollop of synth-pop entitled ”Brotherlove”. So far, the tune has notched up nearly 240’000 youtube clicks.

An EP, “Preach”, confirmed the first impressions: here was a sumptuously talented new voice with a thoroughly contemporary take on 1980s synth-pop and a deadly ear for an unforgettable chorus.

Crimer’s unstoppable rise continues with the release of his debut album “Leave Me Baby” on 23 February. It entered the Swiss album charts at number two! So far, “Leave Me Baby” is available only digitally outside Switzerland. However, a German launch is prepared by Crimer’s management, Coldkings, in collaboration with Grand Hotel Van Cleef booking agency.

Following on from a handful of gigs in Switzerland, Crimer will be playing at The Great Escape in Brighton on 17 May. Do not miss this event! Crimer is a thrilling live performer who knows no shame when it comes to outrageous dance moves. Swiss Music Export will see to it that a comprehensive list of potential international partners – bookers, record labels, etc. – will be present at the show.
