Steiner & Madlaina sign to Glitterhouse

17 November sees the release of a new EP, “Speak”, by the Zurich-based band Steiner & Madlaina fronted by singer and guitarist Nora Steiner and pianist/singer/guitarist Madlaina Pollina. Singing in German as well as English, the two women are accompanied by Max Kämmerling on guitar, mandolin and percussion, and bassist and drummer Alex Sprave. Together, they serve up a multi-facetted and subtle brand of folk rock dominated by intricate vocal interplay.

Having released an EP last year on Zurich-based Lauter records, “Speak” is co-released by Lauter and Glitterhouse. A full album is promised for the latter half of next year.
