Swiss artists at ILMC, 8-10 March in London

Once again, there will be a Swiss showcase as part of the live music programme of the International Live Music Conference taking place this year from 8 – 10 March in London. The “Showcase Testing 1 to 3: Swiss Session” is scheduled for Thursday, 9 March from 13:00 to 15:10 at Bodo’s Schloss in Kensington High Street. The participants are Veronica Fusaro, Baba Shrimps, Death By Chocolate and The Souls.

Veronica Fusaro won the “Demo Tape of the Year” award at the m4music conference/festival in spring 2016 for her song “Come to Naught”. She was also nominated for the “Best Talent” award at the Swiss Music Awards. Veronica combines a fine ear for unusual melodies and gripping electronica-based arrangements with an instantly recognisable voice and a knack of writing memorable tunes which wouldn’t be out of place in any pop chart.

Death by Chocolate are an experienced rock crew from Biel who know how to work a crowd. Their new album “Crooked For You” is released in March 2017.

Baba Shrimps, recently shrunk from a quartet to a trio, specialise in airy indie guitar rock songs with rousing choruses. Signed to Sony, their second album, “Neon”, hit the Swiss Charts, the follow-up album (2017) is produced in London with David Kosten.

The Souls reached the Swiss top three with their recent album “Eyes Closed”. Catchy choruses, panoramic production values and a keen ear for a telling detail in the mix result in memorable songs.

Apart from ILMC showcase, all the above acts – Veronica Fusaro, Death by Chocolate, Baba Shrimps, and The Souls – will also perform at two showcase nights set up by Deepdive Music:
