Sun of Moon: CD Release and Tour

Sun of Moon is the new band formed by Berlin-based Swiss multi-instrumentalist Lleluja-Ha. Every one of the five members has a distinct voice of his or her own, and their interplay within Sun of Moon makes for a fascinating experience indeed. Thus, bassist and guitarist Flo Götte also works with Evelinn Trouble and Disco Doom, Lucky Paul is also Feist’s drummer, keyboarder and vocalist Joy Frempong is also the creative brains behind OY, and violinist Sophia Baltatzi is a member of the Berliner Symphoniker. Lleluja-Ha himself is a multi-instrumentalist who also appears in OY and Pola.

Sun of Moon’s debut album – a double on vinyl – is called „Sun of Moon“. Released last February in Switzerland to invariably enthusiastic notices, “Sun of Moon” now receives an official release in Germany and Austria on the Berlin-based Motor Music label. Lleluja-Ha has frequently composed music for films as well as theatre productions. Here, he combines the soundtrack composer’s craft of creating an atmosphere and a musical dynamic supportive of a (imaginary) moving image with his roots in club music and singer/songwriter culture.

In support of the album release, Sun of Moon will be touring Germany and Switzerland throughout November. A special album release party and concert sponsored by SME and Motor Music will be held on:
