The Legendary Lightness with “The Legendary Lightness” release in Austria and Germany
29 September 2013 sees the release in Germany and Austria of the Legendary Lightness’s second album, “The Legendary Lightness”, on Dresden-based boutique label K&F Records. In advance of the album and in preparation for the “Sound of Bronkow” festival in Dresden at which the band appeared, the single “World Full of You” complete with video clip was released at the end of August. Another as yet unnamed single will follow on 20 September.
Adding instruments like (real) Wurlitzer, Vibraphon and Bontempi organ to their subtle mesh of guitars and percussion, Zurich-based quartet the Legendary Lightness are masters of understated mantra-like intensity. The calmness of mood is deceptive – this is music constantly close to boiling point.
