Puts Marie’s bad temper
Revitalised by a time-out earlier in this decade, Puts Marie have returned fresher, wittier and tighter than ever. Three years almost to the day after the ground-breaking “Masoch 1 – II” album that marked their renaissance and cemented their international reputation, 28 September saw the release of their keenly awaited follow-up, “Catching Bad Temper”.
With their line-up of Max Usata (vocal), Nick Porsche (drums), Igor Stepniewski (bass), Sirup Gagavil (guitar) and Beni06 (Farfisa), all of whom are also involved in a variety of parallel projects, the band writes classy rock songs with a theatrical bent. A hint of „chanson“ influence reflects their background in the bilingual central Swiss town of Biel.
Signed to Two Gentlemen Records in Switzerland, “Catching Bad Temper” will infect Belgium and France via Yotanka Records. The band will support the release with a series of 21 gigs neatly divided between Switzerland and France – with more to follow.
