Special release Day for Seven’s special Album
“4COLORS” is the tenth album from Switzerland’s undisputed king of funk, Seven. Clearly, the man has a close affinity to the number 7, witness the album’s release day: 7 – 7 – 2017.
Seven’s tenth album is a milestone in more than one ways. Never before has the multi-talented, not to mention dedicated, singer and composer attempted such an ambitious project. “4COLORS” is a concept album, no less, divided in four parts, with each part representing a different colour. Thus, “Blue” is all about pain, loneliness and regret, represented by an unusually cold – for Seven – style of electronic sounds and boasting a guest rap by Thomas D. “Yellow”, in contrast, stands for sunshine, warmth, and human togetherness. The single “Die Menschen sind wir” featuring guests Kool Savas and Nico Suave perfectly fits into this category. Next up is “Red”, representing the body, beat, trance, and R’n’B. “Purple”, finally, refers to Seven’s great hero, his Great Purpleness, the Prince of Minneapolis.
“4COLORS” is released on 7 July 2017 via BMG and in Switzerland via Sony Music.
