Egopusher and Klischée at Remmi Demmi Festival Berlin 29 April 2017
Staged for the second time this year, the Remmi Demmi indoor festival is based on the concept of “one evening, one ticket, and six extraordinary international bands – all in the heart of Berlin”. Two of the six bands scheduled for the 2017 event are from Switzerland: Egopusher and Klischée.
Having moved away from their original electro swing sound, Klischée from Berne are a four-piece whose bouncy music – in their own words – “is all about honouring their roots: blues, funk, disco, house, afro-pop, chanson, a dash of swing, rap and trap”.
Egopusher are Alessandro Giannelli on drums and Tobias Preisig on violin, plus a multitude of effect pedals and triggers. Together they produce an intensely dynamic live set of immense power and depth.
