Avant Pop Duo JPTR Release Album Debut

Throughout the year 2016, Zurich-based art/music duo/trio JPTR released a single each month on the day of the full moon. Proposing a “return to a challenging, art inflected type of pop”, a more complete vision of JPTR’s world view will become available with the release of their debut album on 7 April.

JPTR consist of Andrina Bollinger (vocals, percussion), Ramon Oliveras (percussion, vocals), and Olivier Baumann (visual art, lyrics). Videos and live projections are an integral part of the band’s concept. Their lyrics are as radical as their music, covering a number of highly complex issues of modern life in an attempt to fuse depth of message with the language of punky and yet poetic immediacy.

“JPTR”, the album, is released by Mouthwatering Records. Distribution in Switzerland is via Godbrain, world distribution is via Broken Silence.
