Rykka explores „Beatitudes“

4 November is the release date of Rykka’s second album since her conversion from guitar-strumming singer/songwriter Christina Maria to platinum blonde electro pop diva. Entitled „Beatitudes“, the album is released by Little Jig in Switzerland, Cordova Bay Records in Canada, and via individual deals in the Rest of the World. Part of the album was produced by Warne Livesey (Midnight Oil, Sinead O’Connor) in Toronto, the rest was created during a summer high up in the Swiss alps.

Born in British Columbia, Rykka grew up in Canada before spending more time in her father’s country, Switzerland, as a teenager. Today, she commutes between the two countries, taking in influences from both and producing her own distinctive take on catchy electro-pop.
