Tunica Dartos Release „Fall“ in Germany

9 November sees the German release on Timezone Records of Tunica Datos’s new album “Fall”. Formed ten years ago, Tunica Dartos have since stuck with admirable single-mindedness to their highly individualistic brand of post-rock. The drums/guitar/bass trio have built a strong international reputation mainly through incessant gigging. Dispensing with vocals entirely, their style ranges from an ambient type of post-Tortoise sound to the full-out rock complexity of mid-period King Crimson. “Fall” is their third album. Their first, “Sound Buffet”, was produced in Chicago by the legendary Steve Albini – a clear indication of the genre-defying qualities and the stunning musicianship of this idiosyncratic band.
