Veronica Fusaro Wants to Connect With You

Veronica Fusaro concludes an invigorating period of creativity with the release of her second album. It is out now on deepdive Records and carries the pretty self-explanatory title “Looking for Connection”. Fuller in sound than her previous records, the album sparkles with zest and memorable tunes. Most of the songs were written in her own studio in Berne where she also recorded many of the vocal tracks. Most of the rest of the recording work was done in Berlin with producers Charlie McClean (Diana Ross, Icona Pop, LEON and many others) and Kim Westerström (Zara Larsson, Sido, Conchita Wurst, etc.).

Struggling to find inspiration in the face of a world riven with conflict, the singer/songwriter started to keep a journal on a daily basis. The process of writing down anything that sprang to mind and at the same time rediscovering the joys of early Vasco Rossi records helped her to regain some sense of clarity and a vision for the album.
“The title Looking for Connection captures what the whole album is about”, says the singer. “While writing it, I kept thinking about how we live in a time of constant digital connection, yet many of us feel more isolated than ever. The songs explore that tension between screen and real life, loneliness and love, noise and stillness.
