Kety Fusco Joins la Bohème

Newly represented by A Tree in a Field Records, harpist extraordinaire Kety Fusco returns with her second full-length album, “Bohème”. It was created in Geneva in a collaboration with soundtrack composer Nicolas Rabaeus. Astonishingly, it contains a co-writing credit for Iggy Pop who voices his own written contribution on a track entitled “She”.

First plucking the strings of a harp aged six, Kety Fusco, hailing from the Italian part of Switzerland, hasn’t stopped exploring and expanding the possibilities of her instrument ever since. Since pocketing a classical harp degree, she has developed her own compositional style as well as an instrument that is capable of producing a vast array of sounds that don’t remotely sound like a conventional harp. Every note that can be heard on “Bohème” was produced by the harp and various forms of sound manipulation.

Nominated by the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation and the U.S. Embassy in Geneva, Fusco spent three weeks in September and October 2025 travelling and working in the United States as part of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program.
