We Are Ava Tend to Their Inner Garden
After a handful of memorable singles, We Are Ava have at last released their eagerly awaited debut album. It is called “Inner Gardening” and came out on 10 September 2021 via muve Records.
Considering it’s just the three of them – Andy (drums), Nicola (keys) and Kim (vox) – they make quite a noise! The trio from Eastern Switzerland revel in a massive sound complete with thunderous handclaps and wailing synth violins to support Kim’s perfect contemporary pop voice. Formed just three years ago, the creative leap they’ve made from their first EP two years ago is considerable. And they’re not just good at anthemic choruses, they can do visuals, too, having used their spare lockdown time to produce videos to go with each of the eleven songs on their first album.
