Feldermelder Launches Future Holographic Suns

26 November 2020 saw the release of Feldermelder’s psychedelically titled new album “For Future Holographic Suns” on cassette as well as digitally via Berlin-based Kinship Records. Using instruments and FX emerging from the sixties, Feldermelder – in his own words – “forms a storytelling as an Ursprache of ear speech, that hovers over horizons of superluminal fields. Breathing in and zoning out under the light of future holographic suns.”

Feldermelder is Manuel Oberholzer aka Holy Oscillators aka Gibraltar Vacuum, a sound designer, producer and installation artist from Zurich whose list of installations, exhibitions, collaborations, etc, starting from 2011, covers two densely written A4 pages. Oberholzer, together with Mirko Eremita, David Houncheringer and Valerio Spoletini, is also the co-founder of Encor. Studio whose aim it is to work on the “mutual understanding of an ever evolving world, transforming the human condition itself onto a path of merging with space, its physicality and technology in many new forms via digitization and the advancement of our understanding of it…We use light and audio as our messenger and as symbolistic value to project ourselves into a world, which like the properties of light itself, are still mainly mysterious to our comprehension and understanding.”
