Little Lion, Big Roar

It does what it says on the tin: “Kingston Journey” is a record of the musical adventures of the Genevan reggae sound system/production company Little Lion Sound to Jamaica.

Little Lion Sound was formed in 2004 by a group of Genevan reggae fans determined to find a way of expressing their love of reggae at the same time as arriving at their own style of music. Since then, the group has performed at well over a thousand dancehall events in Europe, USA and Australia. In 2013, the collective extended their ambitions with the launch of their own record label, Evidence Music. After producing a stream of dancehall tracks with various guest vocalists, Little Lion Sounds decamped to Jamaica in early 2019 to record the vocals to a dozen of their own “riddims” in local studios with local artists, including Junior Dread, Bugle, and Capleton.
