Boy and DJ Antoine are Germany’s Top 2 Newcomers
Boy, one of Switzerland’s most successful acts at the moment with their new album „Mutual Friends“ in Germany’s Top 15 Album Charts for the third week in a row, are now ranked #1 in Germany’s Newcomer Charts. DJ Antoine, Switzerland’s very own House star DJ has been ranked #2 in the Newcomer Charts.

Oy playing Iceland Airwaves 2011
Having become one of the premier annual showcase festivals for new music since it was held for the first time in 1999 (in an airplane hangar), The Iceland Airwaves has announced the second batch of acts confirmed for this year’s edition, taking place from 12 to 16 October in Reykjavik.
Among those on the bill is Oy – based in Zurich, the singer has been making herself a name creating a sound never heard before, looping quirky noises of kiddy toys and sampling/looping her voice.

Swiss acts at Culture Collide 2011
Taking place in Los Angeles CA from 6 to 9 October, this year’s Culture Collide Festival sees three Swiss bands on the stage: The Awkwards, Kassette and Disco Doom.

We Invented Paris: Release and Tour
Artist collective We Invented Paris are getting ready for the release of their debut album as well as a G/S/A tour starting 7 October and ending 4 November 2011. To start the tour appropriately, there will be an album pre-listening taking place at fifty spots on 6 Otober. The release for the new album „Iceberg“ is scheduled for 4 November by the label Motor.

Ingrid Lukas release
Estonian singer Ingrid Lukas, based in Switzerland is releasing her new album „Silver Secrets“ on 7 October 2011 via Universal Music. Produced by Bugge Wesseltoft, Valgeir Sigurdsson and Ingrid Lukas herself, the release will be celebrated on 28 October at Club Exil in Zurich, alongside dates in Mannheim (31 October, Enjoy Jazz Festival) and Vienna (4 November, Porgy & Bess).

Brico Jardin touring Switzerland and France
In cooperation with Paris-based booking agency Parisienne W2 Productions, Brico Jardin have announced a tour through France and Switzerland along with the release of the CD and book „Petit Robert et le mystère du Frigidaire“ (release october 2011 via French label Naïve). The tour will see the outfit play the Festival de Marne, Alors, Chante! and the Maroquinerie in Paris, to mention but a few.

New album by Peter Kernel
In cooperation with French record label Africantape, Swiss label On The Camper will release Kernel’s new album. A three-week-tour is announced for October/November.
