CRIMER celebrating a birthday
Engaged in an extended tour of the GAS-countries as we type, super-suave CRIMER releases a new five-track EP. Filled to the brim with catchy synth-grooves, the self-released “The Birthday Celebration” marks a new chapter in CRIMER’s musical as well as personal life.
Five years after his last album, CRIMER is not only a man with a new outlook but also a new father. “The Birthday Celebration is my personal celebration”, he artist. “It has cost me a thousand nights, a million tears and a lot of hard-earned cash. In the end, it has totally been worth all the trouble, and once again I’m able to hand myself the gift of a soundtrack that will outlive me. The eternal birthday present…”
In his early days, he was the glittering prince of hugely entertaining post-disco grooves and slightly too tight nylon suits. With life in general and fatherhood in particular, CRIMER has dialled down the irony without losing his edge as an entertainer. With “The Birthday Celebration” he serves up a nourishing slice of latter-day synth pop.
